Kids Show?

Mike saw an announcement in the Chronicle about Lisa Loeb doing this Kids Show in Saratoga.  Mike has had a little crush on Lisa and her glasses since the 90's.  He thought Vi would love this (and by Vi, he meant himself).  The tickets were $15 a piece which seemed cheap so I decided I wanted to go as well.  It was fairly disappointing.  She still has a great voice, but she has no clue on how to do a kids show.  Vi had more fun running around a pole in the back of the church than paying attention to the stage.  It was just her and her guitar, no puppets, slide show/video, light show, nothing that would get a small child's attention.There were about 50 Moms, Dads, and kids so it was super small.  She only sang 2 songs off of her kids album and the other 5 were camp songs she sang as a kid.  The whole thing was about 45 minutes and then she was signing $20 kids CD's at the back table and promoting her new children's book.  Mike plays the guitar (for those of you that don't know) & can make up songs or play any song he hears for free at home....just need some dark rimmed glasses and we are all set!
