The BIG visit continued....

We traveled to my parent's to surprise Bray for her 12th birthday.  We had not seen them since Christmas with Kolt being such a horrible sleeper and not traveling well (if timed wrong), traveling 5 hours was a bit of a challenge so we didn't.  I think I am starting to get used to be exhausted all the time at least on some level.

Bray  is a  very generous girl to share her brand new  scooter with her brother and  cousin--thanks, Bray!
Mike actually allowed Violet to ride the scooter! He did not have a panic attack and Vi was fine--amazing what little girls can do.....
The next photos are little outdoor fun.  Kolt let me know very loudly that the walker was not his favorite so Vi thought a little dancing might cheer him  up. I don't think it cheered him up, but it sure made me laugh--she dances like her father--always hilarious.
We had a family kick ball game. The big frisbee was homebase which the little girls stole.  Spenser dove  into every base and Bray squealed at every turn.
The next series of photos is Vi doing  "tricks" on a bike. Impressive.
So the REALLY exciting event of the day was a coal train breaking down at the crossing on my parent's road at the exact time I was trying to leave to go to Great Grandma's to put the kids to bed.  Kai is afraid of trains and is of the belief they can jump the tracks and come into the house. This may be the only thing that Kai is afraid of. H`mmmm food of the thought. The kids were ecstatic to touch the train and then got out the flashlights once it got dark to go down and help!  The engineer needed my brother's help to put the cars back together (or something) so I was informed that he saved the day!
