Is it Halloween YET??????

Don't ever tell a 3 yr old that it is Halloween at 8:00 in the morning!!! Unless you want to hear "Is it time to trick or treat yet!!!" every 5 minutes for the next 8 hours! Violet decided to be Snow White this year. A friend of mine brought her a Snow White barbie doll a few weeks ago and this was her inspiration. Violet does not know the story of Snow White, but she kept telling everyone (and anyone) she wanted a sparkly dress, sparkly crown, and sparkly shoes! I dislike Disney costumes in general, but I couldn't disappoint her.

On a completely Halloween unrelated note: Violet's recent funny words

She says,"I'm just an old lady trying to get along." I said, "what did you say? She comes over to me and says, "Let me tell it to you in your ear." She leans into me and says it again. Apparently, it is a line from a Bugs Bunny Halloween special said by a green witch. She has continued to repeat this phrase over and over again in the past few days and it is funny every time to hear her say it! And why she picked this particular phrase I have no idea, but I am glad she did!

This morning, Mike says, "Vi want to ride in the stroller while Daddy jogs around the block?" Violet says, "Where is the block?" I cracked up! We don't think about the literal interpretation, but I definitely was picturing Mike nimbly jogging around one of Vi's Winnie the pooh building blocks!!!

I left my witch hat on the vacuum when Vi say it she said, "look Dad a Witch Vacuum!"
