The holiday season started out very promising with a job offer for me and then.......
Mike and Grandma Pat took all 3 kids to visit Uncle Jim, Aunt Cathie, & cousins. Two weeks before x-mas for the WHOLE weekend. A Mother could not ask for a better gift. Judge me however you like. My best-ie Amanda came to escape...er....uh....I mean.....visit me without her two little ones and it was restful and relaxing. But why is it when the kids are gone the time seems to fly by more quickly?
I would have taken this crew as far out into the woods as possible too.
This walking stick is no joke.
I am sure no one told Frannie that rocks may or may not come flying at her head as my kids can be directionally challenged or she would not be standing there. (love her hiking footwear:)
Apparently, Daddy was going for the bed head look with Vi's hair, but she looks fed, dry & happy so i give him 2 thumbs up as well.
The 2nd Annual Gingerbread Construction Contest
And yet again it is a tie......
Can't believe she is old enough for chapter books. What is with the hair, again?
You can't tell from this pic, but the tree is really only decorated on the top half & only unbreakable decorations were allowed. Cam pulled many many glitter balls off the tree and tired many times to rearrange the lights.
His eyes look very much like my Dad's in this photo. I never noticed it before.
I think the kids favorite gifts were roller blades. You would think Cam's roller blades are a bit premature, but with a good shove he goes pretty far. :)
Over to Grandma Pat's for some more gifting....
I can not say what either of these faces are for.....
Warm fuzzy hats and mittens....for my little kittens
I wish I had better videos of xmas, but i guess 3 kids can make it nearly impossible....at least for me.
This is such a cute look for a baby, fat and waddling. What age does this become a complete turn-off?
This Christmas, Santa brought Mike and I a special gift of being disgustingly ill. Coal would have been preferable, but whatever SC. We dis share our gift with Aunt Mel, you are welcome. AND my Mom had the flu so needless to say it was memorable holiday for all.
