What to do.....

I have moments where I feel I fail as a parent and they happen pretty regularly.  This one happenened in the car.

The Rainbow Connection came on the radio.  If I am in the car with the kids, I have the Sirius kids station 78 tuned in.   We have heard the Rainbow Connection on several occassions before.  I turn it up and start singing.  Vi says, "is this the Muffets?"  I correct her and say,  "it is the Muppets  not Muffets and Kermit is singing."  She says, "it's Hermit singing?"  I start laughing and correct her again. It is not Hermit the Frog it is Kermit the Frog. There is no Hermit the Muffet!" 

I have such nostalgia for the Muppet Show.  I don't remember watching a lot of TV, but I do have fond memories of the Muppets & Looney Tunes.  Mike is imparting his love of Star Wars on Vi with the new Star Wars cartoon.  I can only hope the new Muppet Movie gets good reviews and I can take to see it to introduce her to the wonderful world of Muffets!  I mean Muppets! 

Failure is not an option.......at least in terms of Kermit and the gang.
