Pre-Kindergarten Graduation Weekend

Noah and his Mommy came for a visit.  He and Kolton had so much fun diggin in our sandy lawn & pushing around the trucks.

Noah informed us his favorite color is blue & green mixed together and asphalt.

What is better than digging in the sand!  Noah had what he called Diggers to help in the construction.  Noah carried all 5 of them around the house to be sure Kolt would not abscond with one. Of course, Violet turned the 5 of them into a family. I think the bulldozer was the Mom which seems appropriate.

I don't know at what age they will think holding hands is gross, but this just melts my heart.

I can't remember why Noah made this face, but it cracked me up!  He has by far the most facial expressions and most elaborate vocabulary of a 3 yr old boy that I have ever met.

Pre-Kindergarten Graduation.  Songs were song, cuteness was in full-swing, & parents felt just a little bit older than they had the day before.....

Vi getting her "diploma" with her teachers Mrs. Carpenter and Mrs. Whittington.  My face hurt from smiling at how stinkn' adorable this all was.

Vi and her Grandpa Harry

Vi, Grandpa Harry & Grandma Pat, I thought it was strange they didn't give her a big check or a new car since Violet really applied herself and graduated with super-duper-laude, but whatever. :)  At least 3 more graduations to go so fingers crossed on the new car.....

Vi and Jamison

One pic with Vi smiling and another with her super-awesome 5 yr old attitude, arms crossed, lips puckered, eyebrows furrowed,  & accompanied by this horrible whining sound that is especially endearing for her Mom and Dad.  Really the only way to cap off the special day.....

I love that face...and the whining...and your ability to make it sound pleasant when I know it really isn't...made me laugh out loud!
Congrats, Vi!
