We had very fun times and very un-fun at times.....here are some of the adorbable highlights!
A little tractor trip aound the yard followed up by some dress-up.
Kolt decided to cry and whine for most of the trip out to the Grandparents (a short 5 hour trip). It was pretty stressful for me. Thankfully, Violet is a dream in the car. She and I sang Twinkle Twinkle Little Star like we were trying to break a Guiness World Book Record! It seem to be the only song that would settle him down---at least while we were singing it.
He also decided once we got there to NOT take naps unless he was lying down with me and not sleep at night. I felt pretty out of sorts for most of the visit for the lack of sleep. Again, Violet slept all night with no issues. Mercifully, he was pretty happy during the day and played quite a bit on the porch and in the little pool. He managed to fall out of the pool and get a good srape on his head for the 1/2 second I turned around to help Vi. This kid is the total and exact opposite of Violet in every possible way! I can't wait to see how they get along as they grow-up!!!
Kai enjoying her turn in the baby swing which as you might have noticed she is not a baby. Making swinging a bit of a challenge, luckily no kids got hurt tying to pry themselves into and out of it!
