Funnest!

One of our favorite families comes for a visit!

Lydia, her brother Garnet and Vi enjoying orange juice popcicles on a sunny day.  Garnet is the only one cooperating with a charming smile for the camera.

While Mike, Chandler & Pat golfed.  The Moms headed to Explore Indoor Play Place on a rainy morning (only my kids appear in the photos).  Most of the photos were of them running away.....The kids never stopped moving!!!  Almost worth the cost to get in :)

The girls wiped out after of nonstop fun, fun, and more fun!!!!!  Violet said the sweetest thing because Lydia did the sweetest thing.  Lydia made a cookie with her Uncle Thor that she brought (from Vermont) to share with Vi.  Lydia had left to go to the Clan-Alpine Fraternity Reunion with her Mom and Dad so Vi and I were left to entertain ourselves.
Vi says to me, "Mom, we have to tell Lydia she makes the best cookies in the whole-wide world!"  She says, "we have to tell her like this---- 1,2,3,4 Lydia makes the best cookies in the whole wide world!"  When Lydia got back I told Violet to tell her.  Vi whispers to me, "it's a secret."  So Lydia never did hear the sweetest compliment from Violet :(

Now at the beach!!!  Another day of just really wonderfulness from the kids. The Adults were semi-wonderful.
Loganne actually playing with a kid toy and Kolton playing with a shampoo bottle.  A SHAMPOO BOTTLE--what the heck!

Ever since their visit, Vi is constantly talking about Lydia. Some good and some very convienent scapegoating.  If she can't find something Lydia must have lost it some where.  If something is a mess, Lydia must have done it before she left!  But she also misses her and asks to go and play with her at her house, wants to show her the Great Escape, play with her in the fort she made from cushions, play with her princesses etc....
She was calling Nora--Lydia (yes, my posts are out of order again we visited with Lydia before Norah) so I guess she just really misses her friend and who can blame her :)
