VIOLET IS 3!

I haven't posted in awhile. A lot has happened in the 3 weeks, but I will just start with our little girl turning 3. We had a small birthday party at the house with just some of our family. The birthday cake was my favorite and a super collaberative effort by GranMary, Aunt Liz, and Me. The first time Vi saw it she thought it was funny that the horses had frosting on their feet. She promptly took a horse out of the cake, licked it and put it back in the cake....we didn't tell anyone:) She didn't want to open her gifts and told her cousin Kalyssa she could do it! Vi sat and watched her open HER gifts. I guess if you can delegate the tedious task of unwrapping to someone who is willing, why not? Fun was had by all--except maybe cousin Kai who spent most of the day puking into a bucket. Thankfully Kai only passed her germs to her Mom and no one else has been sick.

Now Vi is just waiting for Christmas which seems to bring up at least a couple times a week????
