princess, Explore, and soccer

Our nephew Jeff just got back home safely from an almost year deployment to Afganistan. Violet has a small crush on Jeff that is apparent whenever he is around (not sure when the concept of cousins sinks in?).

This is Violet's dress for Aunty Lynley's wedding. She looks so grown-up, sniff'

The only reason she decided to put on the dress instead of running away screaming (like usual with any new clothing or shoes that are not the norm) was because of Dora the Snow Princess. I told her she would look just like Dora in her pretty dress. Vi said okay and she put on the dress without one tear! Thanks, Dora.
