She sat in a high chair and played with those animals for about 30 minutes-quiet as a mouse.

Vi was beyond thrilled to be busy for The 4 Day Thomson/Siag Wedding Celebration. The kick-off was on Thursday with Thanksgiving dinner hosted by Lynley's grandmother Jean. Violet decided her animals needed shelter so she used place cards to house her animals, but some how continued to run nonstop too.
On Friday, rehearsal dinner. Violet would not walk down the isle with Tori or Bella, but walked once with Mom and once with Dad. She loved running around the lodge eating animal crackers and then off to dinner at the Inn. Thankfully Vi is amazing at entertaining herself so she was happy where ever we were. On Saturday, I woke her up from her nap, I was all quaffed and wearing a dress ready to go to the wedding--- Vi wakes up, looks at me, and asks, "are we going to the beach?" Not the response I imagined.
She put on her "Princess dress" and looked like a little angel. She would not stand for pics and would not walk down the isle, but entertained everyone with her slick moves on the dance floor. Not once in the 4 days did she cry, whine, or complain....wish I could say the same for me:)
Vi did decide if her Dad (or grandfather) was not going to drop his pants at the reception she better step up. Right before she was getting ready to leave with Grandma and Grandpa I was changing her diaper and trying to put on her jammies (under a table w/ Aunt Mel) when she took off towards the dance floor in nothing but a diaper. Needless to say Aunt Linda was dancing with her new son-in-law and soaking the dance floor with tears when Violet streaked through! If nothing else, Vi's timing was impeccable. Her Father was proud of the tradition being carried on.....Hopefully, someone will send me a photo that I can post!
