Violet, Daddy, and Mommy headed to Alfred for the annual Lobster Fest. Violet and Mommy headed up to Aunty Jodi and Jon's for a quick visit. Violet had a super-duper time jumping on the trampoline and running around Moe's like a lunatic. Then Mommy and Violet stayed the week at GranMary and Papa Al's. We got to play lots and lots (as Vi would say) with cousins Bray, Spenser, Kalyssa, and BabyKai. Violet got to sleep in a toddler bed and would not even sit in Mommy's big bed for stories! Violet did hop in bed with Mommy one morning, snuggled her face on top of mine and told me I was her best friend. I could not help but tear up and wish the snuggles would never end...
We went swimming at Aunt Kar and Uncle Tim's. Violet wanted to swim on her own and even jumped to Mommy from the edge the pool!
Violet treated Kai more like a sister than a cousin--saying, "she's touching me, Mommy" on more than one occasion! Bray got to do lots of toddler chasing and was a HUGE help when the two little ones were on the go to the playground or the path! Violet attended her first family reunion and wanted nothing to eat but brownies-I don't know where she gets that from?????
