Poor little Violet was abdonned by her Mother for 4 1/2 days while her Mommy was helping her best friend Amanda give birth on March 29th to a beautiful 7lb 12 oz baby boy named Noah.
Violet did have quality time with her Daddy and grandparents so she barely noticed I was gone, sniff'.
Vi tells me that Dad had a rough time trying to put in pig-tails, but kept quiet so as not to hurt his feelings . She said she wore the same shirt a few times and felt like kids were staring, but she says she had food, water, Dora, and lots of love so she didn't care.
I hear she was a delight the whole time I was gone and even turned her cheese-stick into a magic wand while Daddy was cooking dinner. swinging it in the air and saying "Cheese-Pocus" and I am sure wishing that everything would turn into cheese (one of her favorite foods).
